I unlocked the 2nd deck but didn't really get any prompts or notifications on it, it just happened to be there once I finished a run. I believe it was because I hit level 14, but can't know for sure since the progression bars at the end of runs are all messed up. I'm guessing the 3rd deck will be unlocked on getting the final level or maybe by using the new deck, but the game is broken for me atm and can't really run it to find out
Thank you! This is exactöy what I was looking for.
I cleared the whole story and actually doing Prologue runs, randomly unlocked 3 companions (one of them without any warning), but I'm still dealing with the starting deck run after run, over and over... which at some point is making those runs very tiring, and the game less fun~ :S
Confirmed it, unlocked the second deck at level 14. I agree that the progression is way off, but that's probably my only complaint with the game.
So just to comment on the progression conversation happening here, we hear you, we feel it, and we're working on an adjustment that should solve this pain point.
We can't do it right this minute because we have to front load all of the critical tasks in our pipeline such as softlocks and general code being a nuisance.
I will be pushing the build and the notes in the next hour so keep an eye out.
