Weird Walk cycle glitch?

Is anyone else experiencing a weird walking glitch? Using either keyboard or controller the character walk cycle seems to be a half step followed by a jump. This weird glitch makes the game unplayable since you can only jump when on the ground and since you're only on the ground for a few frames before he hops up it's almost impossible to control the character....

I reworked what I think is the offending bit of code that some people are seeing as the 'skipping' bug. The game automatically detects small ledges and attempts to push you to the top of them. The reason for this is for stair shaped terrain and very slightly misaligned terrains.

But somehow (on only some computers) I think this is continually trying to lift the player, manifesting as a 'skip'. I made some minor changes to how and where this happens. If you're still seeing it let me know.

More bug fixes

Some people are still seeing the skipping bug, so over the weekend I made some changes that should help address it. If you're still seeing it (and you'll know if you see it) let me know.

I fixed some literal 'edge cases' where Nemo could get caught on corner collisions too. Unfortunately (or fortunately) this fixes some places where princess could get caught on corners and get to places she shouldn't be able to.

We also made some level changes to the Mushroom forest.

Game doesn't work

Hello! I want to play game, but it doesn't work. When I click 'start game', there are three saved data, and I click the first and second one to play. However, both of the data doesn't show anything (literally black screen), and the only thing I can see is UI and the word related to version (I don't know the word exactly mean). I really want to try it. How can I play the game? Is there anything I do wrong? I'll wait for your response. Thanks in advance! :)...

I had nostalgia for the NES game, but never read the comics / saw the 80s movie

I played through the demo, and the difficulty was probably about right, but I never really felt hooked (I died about 4-5 times getting to the boss. The boss itself was probably way too easy compared to the rest of the demo.) I have vague but fond memories of the NES game and thus was hoping this game would unlock some old childhood memory of the NES Little Nemo game. I know your main source is the comics, probably not just for public domain reasons, but I hope the final product has some of the stuff from ...
