you def cannot play this without playing advent dark force first unless you like characters just being... there with no reasoning.
but yeah i don't like that they just said F it lets redo it all AGAIN.
i always told people how good fairy fencer F is (especially advent dark force) but can i convince to buy this...?
when i see this forum i am not confident over 100 people will buy this game on steam
It's not just a retelling. This is more of a sequel. And they even tell you near as much on the store page. Which is a lot more than the Japanese audience were told by Compile Heart when this first released!
Nah. Skyrim is remaking the same game over and over.
IF is taking notes from the general comic universe of REBOOTS. Add in the fact that a sizable amount of their games have reboots as a literal plot point.
On the top of my head...
(Mary Skelter 2)
(Death end request)
(Fairy Fencer F)
Even the starting position of the storyline in this is quite ambiguous in terms of plot points because it's not possible to end up with the party configuration in the beginning of the game. In addition some of the plot points Tiara's connection to the dark god and Eryn's actual identity should have been revealed in any route where this combination of characters is present.
It doesn't even follow the same storyline as the original beyond the bare basic plot of "chasing all the plot items in the world".
