A little disappointed with godhood, was really hoping for Reus 2

I don't think Godhood is a bad game but i was a little bored playing it, it felt like a ''Darkest dungeon with god'', train a roster of different classes to complete missions. To me god games are about NOT controlling your people, you know, give them something and watch them react to it or grow on their own.

So i was bummed about it but that got me to install Reus again! And my god! is it a good and fun game! I recently finished it 100% and there was still somethings i was yet to discover. To me Reus is the best God game. The synergy between giants, the combos you can do with animals and plants and i guess ''paths'' you can take with ambassadors really makes it one of a kind.

Then abbey games dropped the news and i'm heartbroken. More than half the team went on to be ''Roost games'' and their project right now is ''Cat cafe manager'', Abbeygames i think will continue work on Godhood. Reus 2 was never really a prospect but i kept on hoping and now the news hit and i'm super sad. I thought a sequel to Renowned Explorers was more likely than Reus but now, i don't know anymore.

I'm wishing all the best to all the team(s), they seem like nice people. I hope they can recover from their setback and thank you for those amazing games Abbeygames.

Had the same with black and white and was very dissapointed with black and white 2.

I agree I don't like the random improvement percentages it doesn't let you focus on a certain aspect or unique items instead of someone's "Item".

Nope! We downscoped just in time to keep the minimum going, and from that point we managed to improve our situation quite a bit! You can read about it here!

Guess this never happened... Was thinking about this game, was hoping for some new content
