It needed some tweaking but I got it working by using a few workarounds. Resolution: Dgvoodoo2 to wrap the older directx to a newer one and force higher resolutions. I play the game on a custom resolution of 3200x1800@120hz Gamepad: I used Gamepad Phoenix to convert xinput to dinput and map triggers to A and B. I've encountered a bug whilst playing: As you turn the car, the car doesn't really grip to the ground. instead the whole car turns but the car keeps on going straight. You almost have to turn 90 degrees sideways for the car to seem to turn in any direction. Anyone else have this issue? I don't recall having this Bug when I played this game as a kid. This game was my childhood, I cannot believe it's coming to Steam! I played this sooooo much as a kid, but since nobody else knew it existed I never imagined it would get a rerelease!!!
