Desperately needs matchmaking,
it's like the Arena gamemode in League of Legends, and i love that!

New cool upgrades regularly will prevent the game from going stale, and ofcourse new characters.

i will definitely get my friends to try this!...

It's fun sometimes but I've never wanted to punch my friends more lol
Genuinely the most frustrating experience I can think of. If that's what you're going for, great.
Lots of characters and augments are super unbalanced. If you play Rock, Chuck, or Sashimi and build any tank items you're basically always going to win. There's nothing in the game to counter healing or max HP so you're just stuck in a down hill battle.
All ranged characters have to zone you out the whole game because if they don't they'll be one shot basically, which is very unfun to play as and play with.
Skinny is the only character in the game that can go invisible consistently and his kit basically one shots so you're playing hide and go seek with a nuclear bomb half the time.
Teevee doesn't do anything unless you have like 5+ cards, he needs a full rework. His whole kit basically needs you to 100 to 0 someone or you're screwed, his teleport is super short range and his right click takes eons to activate. You need to try so much harder than everyone else in the match (and if anyone builds Thorns you basically oneshot yourself on them because even your clones hitting the person hurts you).
Specific augments for characters are something you *ALWAYS* want to grab, which basically kills build diversity, you'll be seeing the same stuff over and over again because nobody wants to be fighting an uphill battle, that sucks.
Some cards in specific I can think of is Kiddo's ult getting bigger after channeling a little bit, you always want to take that and build to spam your ult because it's essentially undodgeable with how big it is.
Eve's card where you do 30% of someone's max HP and stuns after 1.5 seconds with her invulnerability ice comes to mind, lets you 100 to 0 someone basically every time.

The only counter to tanks I've seen is the most unfun playstyle you can think of, where you play Bishop and get Jelly Slime as a card. All you'll be doing is slowing them to hell and running away and nobody is having fun.

This is just scratching the surface. If you want an unbalanced and frustrating time wtih your friends then this is the game for you. I don't think the game is the worst thing in the world, it's free after all and doesn't have scummy monetization, but it could definitely use some work. It's like Battlerite and Rounds if they were combined, which didn't come out of the oven very well... If you want to fight your friends, Rounds and Bopl Battle are definitely better experiences.
