(DEMO) Black screen on launch... Any solution guys?

Hiya, as the title says - i launch the game, and get nothing. Just a black screen. I hit enter, i hear the "Resident evil" voice. So the games loading, just no visuals.

Running geforce 545 card, latest drivers updates. All other system drivers upto date. Every other game is fine, just having issues with this.

Really want to have a shot at the demo to see if it's something i can play, and purchase.

its resolution issue mostly. the demo is set to a very big resolution to begin with. find the config.ini file it should be somewere on local data if i remember correctly. cannot tell excaxt location sadly. there you can lower resolution manually and then you should no longer get black screen and can adjust everything ingame from then on.

yeah i know its stupid but its crapcom for a good reason...

cheers Nerevar, yeah the game was trying to load at a resolution that wasn't accepted with my monitor. All sorted, thanks muchly!

Same problem, but I can't find the config.ini file. I don't seem to have the local folder in my appdata. I'm on XP
