my problem is my ammo, chris stands dumb there and fires with his pistol, if i have norman that i could beat him, out of ammo

First of all, this game doesn't have Co-Op for the main campaign mode.

Second of all, I beat Norman on Normal difficulty with no problem once I figured out his pattern (which, I will admit, IS kind of tricky to get a feel of). The trick is to shoot him as he prepares to attack you after teleporting; his heart will briefly become uncovered in his chest. You can then shoot him with something powerful enough to stagger him, and if you move fast enough, you can run behind him and shoot the pulsing yellow thing on his back (his real weak point). Shoot him enough times and his attack pattern will change slightly; keep the pressure up and you'll eventually take him down.

His initial attacks are slow, so I suggest using a powerful -one shot- weapon like a rife or a shotgun on his chest when it opens up to stagger him. Repeat this until his chest closes up and he gets a bit mad then starts using illusions. When he creates a doppleganger and they are both attacking you, the real Norman is the one with -purple- smoke emanating from his chest(This happens just before his chest opens up). Keep this up and he'll change tactics having one illusion attack first then the real one attacks. Keep using powerful one-shot weapons until his chest opens permanently and he's all 'screw this' and starts attacking you head on, that's when you can start using a machine gun or handgun or whatever and continuously shooting his chest. He'll drop to his knees at some point, don't melee him just shoot his back till he gets up you'll inflict more damage that way.

I didn't have a single bit of luck with a shotgun. When I first started fighting him I was using my M3 shotgun with Charge 2, Damage +80%, Knockback +500%, and Daze +??% parts equipped on it, but even with fully charged shots (which takes much longer than charged pistol shots I might add) to his heart at point blank range he didn't give a crap and would not stun and kept smacking the hell out of me.

I was getting incredibly frustrated and burning through my herbs until I figured out a charged pistol shot would do the trick and stun him easily.

That seems to be a real problem with shotguns in this game, why do they suck so much? They have absolutely no knockback ability, not even against common oozes.

thanks for all your effort, i forgot to add the damage kits, i beat this bastard ggg whoa, now i feel better, the scenes following after the fight, will say that a ampulle of abyss is still in bad hands, so im excited for the next new resident evil :-)

Shotgun is good, u just need to position uself to shot him from the right side cuz his hand blocks some of the bullets.

I found the AUG with Damage 5, Bind 2, infighter 2 worked really well, with the Python to start off. If you still have the rocket launcher it is great for when he starts going really nuts (after he does those running charge attacks)

yes, i equiped the weapons, also the aug with damage 5, the shotgun with damage 4 and the pistol with damage 3. After they were out of ammo, i grabed the sniper rifle equipped it with damage lavel 5 and that works also, but thanks for your tip
