Disable/Remove Crosshair completely?

I really want to play this game with 3D Vision as it supports it really well, only problem is the game crosshairs aren't accurate. I can enable a 100% accurate 3D crosshair from the Nvidia control panel, but then the game crosshairs are still there!

Is there any way I could just delete the crosshairs from the game files or SOMETHING? I really want to play this in 3D since I got a 780 lately and it runs great with 3D Vision.

I'm sorry for such a giant bump but this is one of the only threads I can find mentioning the red dot mod from that forum link, which has long since died. Does anyone happen to still have those mod files?
