Are you 100% sure? Would you bet 1000€ That every game with the enigma is 100% safe?
I've said facetiously that it's Russian Malware/Spyware. But holy shit just doing a very basic internet look up on the company and it's already showing some red flags.

I know you trust Capcom, but can you be 100% certain that this company behind Enigma is entirely legitimate.
At least Denuvo is a known entity. People might hate what it does, but we know the company is legitimate. But what I'm finding about these Enigma guys doesn't strike me with the same confidence.
Man, the Potato is everywhere spreading nonsense, huh?
Literally just a few month's ago malware was spread via the compromised Steam developer account for NanoWar Cells VS Virus.
Stop making these absolute statements when you don't really know sh*t. Nobody really knows what this shady Enigma DRM actually does, we could very well deal with Schrödingers malicious code, we'll probably never know for sure.
Those virus scan reports that were going around were very likely false positives, but in the end, nobody here knows what the DRM does exactly, who the developers behind it are, and what their intentions are.
In the end it could all be totally innocuous, standard anti-tamper DRM, but when there's so much shady sh*t surrounding it, from hidden identities to the use of the DRM in Malware (EnigmaSpark), well, then one should really refrain from making any definitive statements.
Revelation 1 had one but got removed.
RE 5 likely still has DRM but it is lightly implemented.
Albeit many users especially with Steamdeck had trouble with DRM.
But many people are already giving negative reviews out in advance.
Cause Crapcom wants to give out DRM which has zero postive for the consumer if it gets hacked or vulnerbalities are found you can be at risk as in 2016 and countless other times in gaming history.
+all of these games are already cracked for many years now so it does not even protects sales.
It is just net negative for the paid consumer.
Also there were bitcoin and other miner games on steam they usually get removed.
Steam increased its list price for that reasons a few years ago.
Also Capcom already had rootkit accident back in 2016 with street fighter 5.
So there has been multiple games with issues on any PC platfrom in any game including Steam they are just uncommon.

For now, most games are safe. However, you should be wary of Enigma. Currently, some normies and a few experienced people are investigating it. There is a video by SOG as well, where he lightly goes over enigma and its sketchiness if you are curious.
I recommend downloading the safe games and backing them up, then locking auto updates from happening. You should check the updates and steamdb page
If you are looking for safe camera angles, RE 1 HD remaster is safe for the time being, it just has a screwed up net service, so don't agree to it or your saves will be screwed. As for the RE3 port, I do not know, ask around its discussion page. Aaand if it's your first fixed cam angle game, I do not recommend RE0, as it is a bad introduction to the genre. It's an okay game, but not the best, and of course you may struggle with the lack of an item box.
And of course, I recommend the door skip mod, makes the game even better.
But, do your best to keep the drm off your system, as it still is very much unknown, and one of the cheapest on the market.
Anyway, here's the quote, I hope it helps.

Issue is that they don't tell us when they do it. However, a telltale sign would be when the game (that has not been updated for years) suddenly gets a small update with no patch notes/announcement at all. Capcom isn't "fixing" things out of the kindness of their hearts or a sense of duty.....if they had any of that, they would have done it years ago and not wait till now.
