we're on pc, whatever capcom adds, there will be way around it cause pc
Yes true but that makes it even more stupid why they'd add it, people shouldn't have to resort to piracy ironically because they add drm to games over 10 years old
In my ideal world, the time and resources spent "updating" this game would've been spent copy pasting code from the original RE5 versions into the Steam one to fix bugs that did not even exist in the original releases (not even talking about fixing other bugs...).
Revelations 2 split-screen doesn't support mouse and keyboard because it would control both players at the same time, something that used to happen to RE5 as well but they did actually fix it there. Hell, there are some other minor issues like player 2 sometimes checking player 1's status for things (like, you can't open your inventory while player 1 is aiming, instead of checking if player 2 is).
Something else they could've done for this very game would be adding back the original laser sight from the 3DS version as an option, and maybe the first person one too. Perhaps an option to turn off aim assist for controller and not just M+K, maybe add ultrawide resolution support.
Better yet, add the console exclusive raid mode level...
Another very valid alternative would've been to leave the 11 year old game alone and spend those resources elsewhere like new games or whatever they consider worthy but also actually serves a purpose, ORC is still not available for purchase even
