But I agree. You should complete it on Normal Difficulty instead, and play Infernal Difficulty on a New Game+.
But anyway - it will be hard - since they attack in groups and grab me very quick - and you cant fall back.
I use the pistol with a 4 bullet magazin - since it has the most punch :-)
Any hints to dodge? It doesnt work too good pressing space or w as indicated in the manual...
i started a campaign on normal and it was much much easier - i am in chapter 5 right now
Also, most of the enemies have easy methods to defeat them. They can have specific body parts to shoot for critical damage and/or an instant kill, another specific body part or moving animation that opens them up for a charged melee attack if you manage to shoot them first, or even a weakness against a specific weapon or grenade type.
For hanguns, I stick to the rapid fire ones to make it easier for me to hit their arms and other weak points (if you're playing on Infernal Difficulty, you'll find a custom part "daze 3", specifically for handguns). But all of my other weapons are customized to inflict the highest damage possible per shot.
Hmm, most of the dodging techniques I use works with a controller better. But I do know that you have a HIGH chance of successfully dodging manually if you do a 180 degree turn just before you get hit. It's also funny because I seem to accidentally dodge everything whenever I'm just recklessly charging towards an attacking enemy, but it stops working whenever I try to time it properly.
they r pretty squashy
Im through with infernal difficulty - in a new game+ campaign it was pretty easy. The endboss norman took a few hours.
Shooting the arms is a very good hint that helps a lot - still i doubt you can manage a capaign without plus on infernal diffculty (but i will try it ^^)
@ikaros knife them? how do i do that? Of course i use the knife, when they fall down or in the raid missions - but in an infernal campaign they grab you so fast and you will die pretty fast. make a new game without plus - im curious ^^
Thanks for all the hints and advices :-)
Glad to hear you've completed Infernal Mode! I recommend replaying your new game+ file a few more times since there's still tons of weapons, custom parts, and ammo cases to find. You can also try different paths in each chapter's objectives to discover different enemy waves to encounter, and even a few new in-game dialogues during it.
Also, try killing the mini-bosses you run into, even the ones you encounter during a countdown timer. They all drop unique custom parts once they're dead. I've discovered four optional mini-bosses so far, I'm not sure if there's any more I've missed. Completing achievements also earns you new guns and custom parts, so there's that too.
This isn't a long game, but it's jam packed with a lot of content.
