Will there be a Revelations 3?

It's hard to say.

I believe that Revelations 1 was made as a spin-off in terms of having an RE title for a handheld (the 3DS) which then turned into a spin-off involving characters we hadn't seen in a long time; Claire and Barry.

If Capcom was smart, they would use the Revelations title exclusively for side characters that haven't popped up in a while; Rebecca, Billy, Sheva, Sherry, etc.

However, my guess is that Capcom is too busy planning the next couple of remakes to even venture into making an original story with Revelations 3.

There was some rumors a few years ago that it was in development but it was abbandoned two times. One of those times was because they focused on making RE village. So we really don't know if it will be bought back. Also the rummors said that it was going to be about Rebbeca as main character. But at he state that RE is i think it is unlikely to happen. They kinda forgot the main cast of the series of their franchise. So i don't think they are excited to make a spin off series about them again.
