Okay. First of all: Which version of DirectX are you running?
Second: Does your machine support the lowest specs on the store page?
If it does, try updating DirectX. You may also need to update the drivers for your graphics card.
Just bought all episodes for RE Revalations 2 and same thing came to that game. I'm very disappointed in the service. Such things really making you think about downloading not official versions.
Hey guys!!!!! Found exit of this!!! Just refreshed my drivers for NVIDIA and some more, also was launching the game with admin rights and was trying to start with the compatibility mode. It helped with Rev 2 too. Just try that: refresh drivers, admin launch and compatibility mode. Good luck!
I got the same problem!!
First launch ok.. second black screen!!
C:\Users\Your USER\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS changing ini file and turning off full screen. FullScreen=OFF you can change then game runs to fullscreen again but if You quit same problem occurs again. So need to change to FullScreen=OFF again.
Waiting capcom fix
Thanks it works!!
What do you mean change ini file? Can you tell me how to do that?
If you find ini file open it up with text editor (notepad), find line FullScreen=ON and change it to FullScreen=OFF and then save file
