on serious note, don't dodge then. I couldn't figure out that sh1t either and just stayed away from enemies and beat the game just fine. who cares about dodging when you can just stay a mile away and shot guys from a sniper rifle?
Rachel - the best girl in RE lore
When I went for Trinity Bonuses on the 3DS, Xvox 360, Xbox One and now again on PC. Wiggle left and right whenever close to an enemy. This also goes for campaign too btw.
The dodging isn't the best, but it can be fairly consistent when wiggling left and right. Personally I'd also highly recommend a Controller as Mouse and Keyboard on older RE games (Any RE game that is not 7, 8/Village or the Remakes) can be fairly sh*t and mouse movements can be weird.
Dodge is when enemy want to attack you, then you press "W" on the right time. If you are running, it means you keep holding "W", not press "W".
Melee attacks, open doors, restart enemies (Theres two door interaction, the normal and if you leave and re entry the room you are inadvertly restarting the enemies, this explains why they instantly re-agro against you all at the same time) jump animations, heal teammates, Use the oxigen masc (Unused animation, but im pretty sure all of you notice the oxygen backpack all the characters have on the dive suit), fure firearm/ Use knife (This is for the N3DS and i belive type C controllers), Keep and hold the genesis without aiming jus like a regular handgun (Again for some reasson capcom remove this ability on this version and just keep it on the 3DS) and quick turns (The only one related to dodging if you want to do a backwards dodge but on PC its done y pressing Space so again F is unrelated for keyboard) .
As you can see, NONE are related for dodging. What is related to activate dodging is distance.
Walking foward in 1.5 meters of an enemy activates the dodging. CD of 1 sec (This cooldown is related if you are running and suddenly want to dodge this is te amount od time you need to relase W) . This is across all game modes and difficulty (Well on Infernal is 0.7 CD and 1m of distace and it is more easier todo bc enemies get a 25% buff speed.
Raid mode.
Rachael Ooze: Regeneration passive skill comes with a -25% to -150% (Regen lvl 1 is a -25% and regen 2 a -150%). Of course this also works like revenge, lower you health is higher your dodge range is.
Shadow dancer reduces the CD and of relasing W and dodge range by:
Shadow dance 1: 1m and 0.5 secs
Shadow Dancer 2: 2m and 0.7
If you want to prove this is true, go to raid mode, select Rachael Ooze, acording to you "The fact is undeniable" so you should be capable of dodging ALL attack on stage 20 without problems, rigth?Oh yeah, if you do make a video with your screen on window mode and allowing everyone to see whats currently running with a task manager (Is not a secret that Razor make a perfect dodging trainer for this and RE3R).
lmao
Thanks for your videos btw, helped me a lot on stage pathing back in my early hours, but the sp is right, it's already proved with video data of a overlay ce script that shows exactly where the moments of dodging highlights, man even used the extreme example of r.ooze reduced dodge cp as a point too.
Edit:I did see it now, this was indeed necro'ed by a head-dented golden shoveler. Disconsider what i mentioned before.
