in the ghost ship run i got the lvl 50 goverment special tag diktator. it has 6 slots. is it a good weapon to use on GS when i equip the common stuff like autoload and gluttony? Anyone has experience with it?

It is the strongest handgun of them all, I believe. I use it as an alternative to a fullburst shotgun against GN (Ghost Norman). When equipped with daze 5, auto loader, fullburst, gluttony, and giant rabbit foots 3, it is just as effective at keeping him away. It just doesn’t delete GN as fast as the shotgun does. You can also equip fangs and switch to it when you want to heal without using an herb.

If u have Parker's government I highly recommend it over Dictator. Put fullburst, autoloader 1 and gluttony 1, u got mini magnum to obliterate the ship.

Dictator is powerful handgun but has horrible recoil since it is a rare tag. Parker's government can reach max upgraded damage way higher than Dictator can reach. Not to add that Parker's government is zero recoil, so fullburst is perfect to equip on it.

If u got a Revelator, I recommend it also over Dictator. More balanced in terms of fire rate and damage.

Dictator is powerful if it has more than 4 slots. My main build is using only handguns and yeah I only use 2 dictators and one p-90 light weight. I really worth it.

Parker's government us a good start. But I wouldn't say is better than dictator.

Parker's government relies so badly on full burst and autoreloader. That is literally 2 slots wasted and the highest number of slots that gun has are 3. You only had one slot left (And always is gonna be Full burst or triple burst).

The only fact that has 3 slots as much makes me say is bad and not worth it (More slots= more powerful on this game and re rev 2)

The dictator/regular government are independent. You don't need to build a weapon set around ammo. Just around what you need or increase something on specific.
On my case my dictator lvl 49 (slots) is focus on damage. Strong enemies and humanoid enemies get 56% more damage+full burst, cornucopy, gluttony and autoreloader. I literally stun them to death (Oh yeah dictator has more capacity)
I had another lvl 50 dictator (6 slots) this is focused on being efficient.

Damage 6, 3-burst-autoreloader, cornucopy, gluttony and ammo magnet 7

I deal with 90%of the enemies on GS without issues with two dictators. But back when I used to play with parkers government i usually had to build my guns around gluttony and rifle (Bc Parker's government has a lack of stun)

Any gun with more than 4 slots is better than Parker's government (The G18 is the exception UNLESS is a G18 Steady Hand and you aim at the critical area all the time).

Revelator is awesome I use it for years. With O'Brian and firing rate parts you have a powerful G18.

If you're going to play on the "legal" way revelator is the best handing in all terms.

If you are going to play like everyone does (Using autoreloaders and bursts) goverment/ dictator is the best handgun.

All things considered, yes Dictator is better than Parker's, and I also agree that the latter is only good as beginner's weapon (not to mention it is a DLC weapon).

In my solo days (3x), I found Parker's a reliable weapon for beating GS first time, once u get fullburst (which is easy to get), autoloader and gluttony (which u need to grind unfortunately).

Dictator is powerful, but the real problem is u can't use it as DPS or maybe the correct way to say is that there are other pistol that has better DPS than Dictator. I would honestly prefer Chimaera as being most balanced rare tagged pistol in the game.

A full burst deals 21.3k

Dictator fully upgraded deals 6902 damage (Just 200 pts less than Parker's) and it has 15-17 bullets (I believe the lvl 50 has 17 since the one with lvl 49 has 15bullets and is my boss killer)

A full burst of dictator deals 103,350 damage + stupid power.

Even the dictator has better DPS using only full burst. You have at least 4 slots to increase more the damage something on the Parker's you don't.

Pc356 is really good for the amount of parts you can use. Is the best handgun for campaing too. On both modes is really easy to get with a good ammount of parts.

But as balanced handgun I believe the Revelator is the best one. Good damage, firepower, number of parts and capacity.

Revelator has fastest fire rate (I dont include Slaughter cuz it is a hybrid machine gun actually), however, since it is one less slot, I vote Chimaera as most balanced rare tagged pistol. But dont get me wrong, I love Revelator. I used it in my handgun only GSTB.

There is no Lv. 50 Dictator with 6 slots. Max is 5 slots only, but if you got it from Nightmare Mod, that is another story. So, ...

In original, comparing two handguns, Dictator and Parker's Government at level 50. If all upgrade to the max (5 firing speed and 25 Firepower). Dictator: Firepower (7282), Firing Speed (3.00) and Capacity (12). Parker's Government: Firepower (7820), Firing Speed (3.00) and Capacity (3).

In Nightmare Mod, Dictator: Firepower (8815), Firing Speed (3.75) and Capacity (13). Parker's Government: Firepower (7820), Firing Speed (3.00) and Capacity (3) same as in original.

Also Dictator is 5 slots, but Parker's Government is 3 slots only.

As we can see, in original Parker's Government is more powerful, but in Nightmare Dictator is much stronger and faster.

So depends on which mode you play, you may select the different one. Also one thing we should consider is about the drop of ammos. By using Parker's Government, since its capacity is only 3, the ammo drop is very easy to "refill into" your handgun as you don't have to reload to release space for them.

Sometimes we may forget to reload the weapon so that we miss many ammo drops.
For example, many player would like to increase Weapon's Capacity, especially MG. However, when you fire it, it may be a lot of bullets decreased, then you remember to reload it, but you actually miss many chances of ammo drops and bullets already drop a lot.

My experience is: one light-weight handgun with a Cornucopia 3 part, and Parker's Government with a Ammo Magnet 7 part. This setting will ensure me still have nearly 280 bullets in handgun inventory when I reach the Deck. If not, it's ok. During Deck fighting, you may use other strong weapons like magnum or Rifle. When reach the final step (Norman), your handgun inventory may be recovered to 280.

On stats Parker's government is good but on general aspects the regular government regardless of the tag is better by the simple fact you can find it with more than 4 slots.

If you do an "Only handgun" run you most likely are going to use the regular governments PC356 or dictators rather than a Parker's government.
While the regular version is totally independent and versatile in multiple ways the Parker's version requires at least two guns focused on gain ammo back.

A regular government you are fully capable to get his firing rate up to 8 pts (Literally a revelator on default stats) by upgrading firing rate, using fire rate 4 and O'Brian. The dictator up to 7pts.

While Parker's government is a pain in the ass get it up to 3.34 pts and the maximum I manage to get hit up was 5.546 (And this was adding "speed shot" tag with cheat engine) on this number is already included the "Handgun maestro 5 and firing rate upgrades and parts.

S regular government or the dictator version is fully capable to gain his own ammo back without sacrificing anything while the parkers government first of all you have to commit to autoreloader gluttony and full burst or triple burst bc is really slow second the damage you have from the off limits upgrades are the damage you are going to had all the time unless you sacrifice one slot part to add more damage (And again I don't see someone playing with this gun without autoreloader, full burst and gluttony)

The regular version of government (regardless of the tag) is fully capable to clean stages on anyway you want to customize it while the parkers government you'll run out of ammo in certain point bc that gun is fully dependent on gluttony and full burst (Bc ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a pale raider feels fast compared to the Parker's government XD)

(As matter of fact a firing rate 4 on a pale raider has even more effect than on prkers government. It can increase the firing rate from 0.88 up to 1.92 (+1.04) while the Parker's government from 3.00 with firing rate 4 gets up to 3.84 (+0.88) of course on game stats you'll see.its stuck on 3.34 but during the gameplay the code will increase it up to 3.84).

If I had to choose between those two guns I choose the regular over the Parker's just for the ammount of part. I always said this. More parts+ more powerful gun.

But I still agree that revelator or PC356 are the best ones bc they usually come with 5-6 slots. It is really rare to get.one of this guns with less than 5 slots.

I agree. Unless the slots can be increased to 4 or 5, Parker's Government is actually limited in use although its firepower is stronger than others.
