Rare tag is rare. There’s a 50% chance to get no tag (better than an useless tag). The distribution of the other 50% can you see in that table of commander Fox.
I still haven’t found any Raptor. I think it makes no sense to implement items in a game that players never will get.
If you loot 50(!) cases per hour (I don’t get 50 cases/h) it will take you 2475 hours of play time for your desired Raptor. And the Raptor is by far not the most rare weapon.
Try to get a six slot slaughter at lv 50 or a six slotted Pale Rider lv 50 (i actual found this one but I don’t like it, now is my loot- fortune used up for the next 3 years LOL).
In reality, I don’t know any player that ever get a weapon with rarity of 6 - orange on XB/PS4. Except that one lucky guy on YT.
I found only one rare BW weapon in all my playtime.
This could mean that you probably never find a BW without rarefinders. Except your great mod 😊
Going through the new data they have added to it compared to the vanilla PC one I found 2 values (floats) that would make sense regarding Rare Finders:

My instant guess was the negative value reduces lowest Weapon Lv Rate, the positive one increases the highest one. Since how the rate tables work, if they increase a rate of something, they will have to lower anotherone, so that the total is always 100%
Since there are 3 Rare Finders I should find 2 Stacks more of values that are like this.
If feel that no lv 47 weapons drops if rare Finders are equipped. I can’t prove that but will check it for my future farming runs. Maybe the lv drop area is moved one level at GSC or at GS/GSC with rare Finders. If that’s true, then it’s a pretty simple procedure with this rare Finders.
I contacted Capcom for some information about inconsistent drop rates and the game mechanics but it seems to be a top secret.
Even the formula for Calculating the points for Treasure Hunt events at RE.net are top secret 🤐
Did you find any hints in which way and order the games is calculating weapon drops? First Typ, then level, then Tag ....
Like you said he increase the Lv51 weapons (BW). However there is also one thing we don't know it's if we can stack 9 rare finders (3 on each of your weapons). Because ever it's limited to total of three (RF 1-3) on one weapon only or the drop rates from it make no difference. I played 400h yet. Got a few Rare tagged weapons but drop rates are still abysmal.
In truth I had more named weapons with your mod then on PS4 in 50h.
I think the game takes the weapon rate first. I think it uses the exact variables from LVT files in coop_table without doing any modifiers to them since modifying the variables in the files allows you to control the drop rates to your desire without problems. Like in my GSC mod.
I don't think Lv50 weapons have fixed slots on PC, I set the Lv50 rate to 100% in WeaponRarityRate, then I set the WeaponSlotRate of +2 really high (and others lower) and its possible to get an L.Hawk with 4 Slots (or 5 in my mod) on Lv50, if the game did a lock to it internally that wouldn't be possible by just changing the variables in the files.
Its just that the vanilla rates for Lv50 + all the other rates are so low that a Lv50 TR, Grim Reaper and similar with +2 Slots on Lv50 pretty much never happen, pretty sure a very few people out there might have gotten so lucky to actually get such a drop in vanilla. Like that PS4 dude with his orange Grim Reaper.
My BW Pale rider has also +3 slot but is purple and not orange coz it’s missing the rare tag. It only has steady hand (what is actual very lucky) but it’s very likely that i will never find a purple lv 50 weapon at PC vanilla. Even i still haven’t found any rare lv 50 weapon at vanilla.
Therefore is that game not really a grind-fest coz you wont grind for things you will never get...
Have you proved that stacking rare finders makes no difference? When you are sure I will give up the stacking coz it is a huge disadvantage to run GSC with 9 rare finders equipped.
Yes. I've experimented in my 400h of playtime. Today of 5 games only 2 games gave me at least 1 BW (Highest in a single was 3). He seems to random sometimes out of nowhere. The drop rates get so lucky. One time i even had Two Purple (BW) zaytsev in two separate games.
Rare finders are either glitched or non-existant. My theory is that they increase the drop rates for LV.51 weapons (BW). I have plenty of friends (Japanese , Brazilian , English) many have more hours than myself. Plenty say there is some kind of cooldown while other says that sometimes Capcom is increasing the drop rates.
Knowing Capcom the second option seems unlikely. Rare Finders would increase the drop rates by either
- 1% - 2% - 3%
-0,1 - 0,2 - 0,3
- 1% - 3%¨- 5%
Nine rare finders must work but like i'm theorizing it's pretty much so low that he barely make a difference. 9 RF must make a difference but , i'm pretty sure 6 or 7 of them is enough.

For my GSC mod:
I increased the base slot count of weapons that have a base slot count of 2 and 3 by +1, thats how its possible the PSG-1, L.Hawk etc can have 5 Slots with my mod. Also I am using the Slot Rates from the console version for Lv51. The Slot Rates show that it would make sense they did it the same as I did and increased the base slot count +1 of BWs. Also it should be possible to get a 6 Slots Grim Reaper using my mod.
Console Slot Rate for Lv51 that I am using in my mod as well for Lv50:
-2 Slots: 0.09 (9%)
-1 Slots: 0.22 (22%)
+0 Slots: 0.41 (41%)
+1 Slots: 0.14 (14%)
+2 Slots: 0.14 (14%)
Btw the Console Slot Rate for Lv50 is the same as I posted in the pc vanilla table on 1st page.
The Weapon Rarity (color) is calculated depending on base rarity of the weapon + positive slots that dropped (either +1 or +2 and if its BW and they made the base slots +1 that also adds +1 to the rarity color value) + Tag (rare tag adds rarity +2).
For example the Pale Rider has a base rarity of 1 (yellow).
The Drake and the High Roller are the only weapons that have a base rarity of 2 (green). While the L.Hawk actually has a base rarity of 0 (white).
Rarity color values reach from 0-5 on PC and from 0-6 on Console. You can make the Rarity color value exceed 5 on PC, the color will appear as dark yellow then I posted a screenshot of that somewhere in my GSC modding thread.
White -> Yellow -> Green -> Blue -> Red -> Purple -> Orange
Example calculation for an orange Pale Rider: (values inside [] = rarity value)
Base: [1]
[BW] Slots +1 [+1]
+2 Slots [+2]
Rare Tag [+2]
= [6] (orange)
I can understand your friends, the drop rate feels like a cooldown is installed.
a) there was no weapon under the base slots, furthermore there was no weapon with the base slots as known in vanilla...so I think you are underrating it with your guess, they set the base slots to +1 or maybe to + x
b) it’s more likely to find a base slot +3 weapon than a base slot +2 weapon
For example: I found tons of M92F, they are usually 6-slotted and only few had 5 slots. 4 slots never happened.
Base slots +1 is possible but I found only one Hawk with 3 slots.
c) the minimum rarity I found was 3 (blue) except the PCS and the Hawk. The PCS (without a tag) can’t exceed a rarity of 2 (green) with the limit of 7 slots and all weapons with rarity 0 and
d) the chance to get a BW with a rare tag is maybe reduced. Its so unlikely that I thought its simply not possible until I finally found one. Its likely that i never find another one.
e) i think you know that but if not, the stats (damage, fire rate, clip) of the BWs are at the level of the rare weapons at vanilla. So every M92F has 4000 base damage and a BW Pale Rider has 30000 base damage. But they have not the other advantages/penalties of rare weapons at vanilla.
Rare BW weapons seems to have even more damage than rare weapons at vanilla but I can’t prove that coz I haven’t found a rare lvl 50 weapon at vanilla.
P.S. that’s probably not correct, coz I have a Zeroth lv49 that has more damage than a BW Muramasma.
If the game uses really the lv51 slot rate, as you showed at the table above than I feel its not corresponding with my drops coz I found base +1 only two times (the Hawk and the PCS of you want to count that)
- 100 runs 11 cases with 9 rare finders equiped, there is no difference compared to 7 are 8 cases.
-100 runs 8 cases with 0 rare finders, there is no hope to find a BW (only 4 are 5 BW if i remember correct).
-100 runs with blue weapons with 9 rare finders, there is no difference compared to farming with red, orange, are pink weapons.
-100 runs coop with both players no rare finders, no hope, only few BW.
-100 runs solo with 8 rare finders, no hit runs, no difference compared to hit runs, and 9 rare finders.
You can easy use 8 rare finders to get every possible bw weapon in the game, going lower, is less bang for your buck.
-100 full clear runs with 8 rare finders, there is no difference compared to short speed runs.
-100 runs with 9 rare finders, and partner using a bw TR with 8 rare finders, there is no hope if you think you can get a TR just by playing with a friend who have it equiped.
Why 100 runs all the time, because rng in this game sucks, you cant test something in a few runs.
My conclusion rng sucks very hard, playing without rare finders is like wasting your own private time, if your looking for BW drops.
Also rare finders dont upper your chances for finding rare weapons.
The only thing that they are doing is upper your chances for BW.
I still dont understand the rng in this game, but if you really want the rare BW weapons, you can do the treasure hunting events on re.net.
For some reason i found all my orange weapons while the events are on, with 8 rare finders equiped.
Also unequiping, and equiping your rare finders before every run can help, because they feel bugged sometimes.
I see, it’s difficult to prove the use of stacking rare Finders. Maybe they are buggy, I feel that also sometimes. And I will equip they again for each run.
I participate the treasure hunts at RE.net but I feel my drops are decreased when the event is ongoing.
Have you tested the drops with only 3 Rarefinders equipped?
I think the name Rarefinders is a little bit misleading....
