Is Rachel dead for good?

Thought I killed her in the cafeteria (her body remained in the ground), but I could swear I heard her ghostly voice again after leaving that area.

Would I encounter her again in the later episodes?

I ran into Rachel again whilst hurrying back to the Control Room. I actually ran out of time in the 1st attempt as I was fighting every every enemy along the way. On the 2nd attempt I dodged every attack and shot the traps on the ground and reached the Control Room well in advance.

Probably not lol. I suspect when it IS the last time I'd see her, there'd be some special cutscene or ending for it.

I took the Promenade route, hence I didn't run into Rachel again. Apparently had I taken the Cafeteria route, I would've encounter her again and earn another illegal part.
