What do you like about 97? Not a troll question, I'm legitimately curious since it got its own steam release.
And to answer your question, the 97 was the KOF along with the 98 that I played the most in the arcade. It has a huge meaning in a time I lived, besides being the end of the Orochi saga. I played a lot on Neo Geo CD and a little on Saturn. I know it's a problem game, but back then they weren't as well known and people weren't as good at playing as they are today.
Anyway, that was it... but the 97 joined the conversation for no reason, as I just showed up here to ask them to launch a UMFE port for Xbox One/Series, since the 360 version is not Final Edition and it's already too dated.
Whether or not the 97 is a bad KOF I don't care.
What matters to me is that I LIKE. Only that...
Want to hate and deify the original KOF' 98 (which I also like) feel free! 👍
2002UM could also use a slight improvement to the lobby, like spectator mode too.
