How are you going to play KOF 98?

I will try different things for sure. I have some adaptors for old consoles at home and a few arcade sticks. I know this games rock with any decent arcade stick, but a Sega Saturn pad is probably almost as good as that. Not that fast but more easy to pull moves, at least in my experience. I have a NGCD pad for PS3 that is great, and I often use it for offline play, but it is too slow to compete online.

Are there any crazy keystick/hit box users around here?

Wow, I have been interested for a while but never took the step to order one. Is it very difficult to get the hang of it? I mean, it must be very unintuitive at first, right?

Same here, but I'll probably stick to the Xbox 360 pad (Gamestop version, not Microsoft).

I did build a stick with a PS3 PCB, KOF XIII had problems with PS3 pads and I must use emulating a XBOX360 pad.

I hope in this version fix this.

Keyboard as always! I never really got used to arcade sticks nor gamepads for playing fighting games. With keyboard I get more precise control for doing specials.

I use hitbox, but a good alt is to set up keyboard with ASD as left down right and Spacebar is up. You suffer from keyboard ghosting still, but it's much better than W as jump

I started playing fighters on keyboard initially so I had no transition period at all.

I've got a HRAP Kai with the "3rd Strike" setup: Sanwa buttons and a Seimitsu joystick. So good...

I swear by the fighting game gods I shall add a Hitbox to my arsenal when I have some extra cash to burn!

I'm using my 360 controller because I'm poor. I've got the instincts to do alright though. Nothing competitive I doubt but if there are people playing, I'll get better by observation, right?
