Curious if David Suchet might be featured in future ?

Curious if David Suchet might be featured in future as the voice of Poirot as growing up he was the main and in my view the ultimate actor of the legendary detective, when i hear others playing the part i can't help but feel it is not quite right, although based of the trailers i would give high points to it being close with whomever is the current voice actor,

I imagine he costs alot of money to hire, and remember, most studios that are not triple a cannot hire that kind of caliber of voice actors. Remember, game companies and developers want to make money, so they will use all kinds of shortcuts to avoid losing it, even not hiring original voice actors that originally did the voice.

Oh he was not the original, but he was in many's view the best to portrait Poirot. Indeed im well aware the costs involved, the thing is though iv'e seen in a number of interviews David has stated whilst he is happy about others especially younger fresher faces playing the character he would love to still do it and it has always been less about the money for him its one of the reasons i asked the question but ofc i didn't go into as much detail nor did i point out the interviews but that was basically my basis for asking as the guy is willing if the interviews are anything to go by and cos he loves the character so much i think he would do it considerably cheaper if a negotiation came up

Sadly I just don't see them casting David Suchet as Poirot again for games. Owned all the games, and even all the DVDs of David Suchet playing Poirot, even own the 1974 MotOE Albert Finney's Poirot. I've watched Kenneth Branagh play Poirot in two movies he wasn't too bad but.... I've seen and heard others do Poirot but none as good as David Suchet imo.
I'm not going to say nobody else can do Poirot as good as he did, but it's hard to listen to or see anyone else doing Poirot. He played Poirot for 25 years.

David stated in an interview from 4 years ago that I'll link below that he misses playing Poirot and the interviewers were telling him to play Poirot in a movie and he said-
"I can't, I have to be asked, and I think they're moving on".
He said he would but he wouldn't do a tv show again. So nobody's been asking him to do Poirot.
Is money the issue? Maybe, or maybe they've just not asked him because they want to give others a chance to play him. Or maybe they go for cheaper options.
I just have a hard time throwing money at any newer Agatha Christie games knowing that David isn't the voice of Poirot.

Thats pretty much the issue i have, its not to say new people have done badly , i just can't listen and enjoy it, cos i don't hear David's voice, iv'e been spoilt far to much with Davids amazing portrayal that now anyone else sounds less authentic and certainly in a game it would ruin the immersion cos my brain just can't accept any other voice input, it would be so weird to even try and accept it in my mind

That's literally my issue with anyone else doing Poirot, they're not David Suchet. They may sound close enough like him but they will never be him. He just had a magical way of bringing Poirot to life.

I watch episodes every now and then on youtube.
He mentions it in the video I posted above starting at about 1:50 that her daughter praised him for Poirot so that speaks volumes.

In 2013, Suchet revealed that Christie's daughter Rosalind Hicks had told him she was sure Christie would have approved of his performance

He was in the original 'Orient Express' game several years back. I still have it; must play it again sometime.
