The Price to Pay Achievement

Is this unobtainable?
I've spent around an hour straight now just trying to get it, done what it says and completed a level AFTER getting over 10 nitroglycerine explosions, yet the game just refuses to give it to me. Am I doing something wrong?
This is quite annoying since I have literally every achievement EXCEPT for this one.
