Primarily 1) Pickup Range. It is the only place you can get bsae pickup range, and it's in Dedication to boot. It's amazing. If you are doing anything in your build that revolves around pickup range then it's amazing (Blazing Shell, Broker's Cape etc).
Secondary 2) The Weapon and Stance traits that affect ALL abilities. e.g. Base Dmg +10 (Weap II) doesn't seem like much... But if you are stacking low dmg, high speed abilities this is INCREDIBLE (Phantom Needles, Astro Orbs, Arcane Splinters, Transfixion, Spirit Warrior etc). The same is true for the various stance traits. e.g. +50% crit chance is HUGE if you are using abilities that have big crit bonus but lower crit chance.
There is little other reason to take the Sage mark. However, if you are doing a build that might benefit from one of these two things... Sage (mark) is VERY strong.
The last update added a 5th Hall with two new characters- Sage and Landsknecht. They also have class marks.
