openal32.dll Solution!!!!!

I was having trouble loading up Penumbra for sometime. Everytime I would load it, it would not pop up. I go into the files, right click the game, run as admin and it will say "Cannot run program due to missing openal32 file".

I have been looking all over the internet for the proper and most safe solution. Luckly, I found it!

But IF you are lazy and want me to lay it out, alright no problem.

'openal32.ddl' is a sound file that is missing in your computer, so what you need to do is go to this link http://connect.creativelabs.com/developer/Wiki/OpenAL%20Installer%20for%20Windows.aspx and click on the bottom link right next to 'download'. I guarentee you it is safe, if you dont think so, watch the video. I personally scanned this myself and it is safe. It is a small download to help replace the missing openal32 file.

You MUST have WinRAR, if you dont...just watch the video. (To those who dont know WinRAR its a program to help open files, quite handy for gamers)

So after I downloaded and ran the program, it only took a 'mere second' for it to download. After that I got on steam, clicked play and Boom! The game works perfect! Problem solved! Hope this helped yall!
