Worm chase help chemical storage

I can't seem to turn the wheel right at the end of the chase, I turn it a little. It freezes and then I end up dying. I'm moving my mouse in circles but this game will not recognise it and as such I keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying. What am I doing wrong?

forgot how good this game is honestly. Can see the improvements made over the years in the bunker (which funnily enough also takes place in a military installation) especially in enemy contact.
I got trapped by a dog in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shipping container :(

Yep, red is in overture but for obvious reasons not in black plague lol

I see all types of suggestions to help. The easiest I saw that might help is changing your screen settings in game. Good Luck!

idk about anyone else but I never use the hammer for combat lmao so I have no idea

im probably a bit late but you have to break the weak wooden pillar behind you when you get to that door, it causes a cave in and the worm cant get through; ending the chase. then itll be much easier to turn the wheel and red will begin speaking to you
