they alienated every player completely new to fgc by only giving hardcore competitive experience and feeding them to backers
they betrayed their core fans by adding shields grabs and floorhugging, the most unintuitive mechanics to a R1 fan.
didn't fully satisfy ult players (a lot of whining about apm and input precision)
targeted melee fans who, as always, prefer melee
No, they haven't. They HAVE been trying to work on the game. They've tried to nerf things like floor-hugging and shields so that they're managable.
Just because it's different doesn't mean it's bad. I've played the hell out of R1, yet I'm still able to appreciate what R2 does. I also don't find shields, shield grabbing and floor hugging to be as big of a problem as you make it out to be.
You can't please everyone.
Right, because the overly slippery and unbalanced Melee is so much better than the smoother, more balanced gameplay of R2, right? Sure, not perfectly balanced, but everyone's at least usable, especially combared to characters in Melee.
I thought so! It's not the game itself, is it? It's because it's about those "oh-so horrible furf@&$." Genshit Impact and Granblu Vanity Versus are right there if you want games that refuse to put non-human playables in their games.
No, but you DID start spouting furryphobic BS, and I'm going to say this right now: I do not tolerate that kind of bigotry. I don't care if you think bigotry towards furries is oh-so different from every other type of bigotry, we still have struggles that come with being furries, it's not something people can just change (contrary to popular belief), and furries typically like to be treated with respect just as anyone else. Even if you think bigotry towards furries is "different" from other forms of bigotry, it's still bigotry.
Like I said, I do not tolerate furryphobia.
Sounds REEEEALLY respectful, huh.
Please stay on task and stop turning every discussion page you interject entirely about furries, its insecure and I don't think anybody wants to hear it. I know plenty of furries who would hate to be represented by you and your fallacy ridden claims, most probably just want to be let to themselves.
But wanting to just be left alone and actively making long winded essays about how you want to be left alone are 2 entirely different things. Not everything is a personal attack.
