multiversus is universally considered a failed game
For a game that had AAA funding and is F2P, yeah.
It does, at this time (afternoon in europe) there are 650 multiversus players and 900 rivals 2 players. Its basically peak gaming time rn for part of the world. And the game barely gets more players than a game considered dead
Dont get me wrong though, im not saying Rivals 2 is as bad as Multiversus, but using Multiversus numbers so suggest Rivals 2 is doing good is not it
Game is not popular outside of NA, so this means nothing. This is very clearly NOT peak hours for rivals as you can see by the steam charts.
MVS loses money = failed game.
Aether makes money = successful game.
