Now, I think aside from his side special he is still pretty fun, even if its entirely subjective and I don't have an exact reason. So what you gotta do to force your opponent to play more fun is to either provide aerial pressure or parry their zoning tools so that way they can't rake up poison and land an easy bubble. If your force their hand they will do what you want.
If you land in that bubble you either got hit into it so you were already in a bad position and the ranno prepared his bubble in advance or you got tricked into getting hit with the move with one of if not the longest animations in the game.
In both cases you deserve everything that frog does to you.
I don´t say its impossible I have landet in that thing quite often but its far from problematic and actually a great opening to hit them back if they miss it.
If he gets you with it something that helped me is to try to move up and away from him.
It makes it harder for him to hit you properly and while you will get hit it may be 1 or 2 hits less than if you don´t move or move above him.
Like that you force him to move and becourse his air-speed is bad he either will miss you if he jumps or he will have to stay on the ground->move forward->jump->attack-> land again and that takes more time.
Playing the patient game with Ranno... Huh, makes sense. Skill issues lol
