Keyboard menu controls

Can you change them? because they're quite frankly horrific. It would be fine if I used the arrow keys but I use wasd and I cannot take it anymore lmao

You can change them by opening up local play, pressing v, creating a name tag (this is important as not having a nametag will mean your controls will not save), and then changing the controls there. Unfortunately, even after figuring out this terrible system, its pretty apparent the keyboard accessibility in this game is just horrendous. No double tap movement, parry and dodge can't be bound to the same button, and no mouse binds.

Does doing this change the menu binds? Because I think I’ve already done this. Also you can make the parry button air dodge if that’s what you mean. In the controls you can change what air grab and air parry do. But yeah not being able to bind mouse to stuff sucks. Doesn’t affect me as I use only keyboard but still sucks.

No I don't think it affects the menu binds. Thank you for the advice for the air dodge, but I already had that binded. I more so meant stuff like switching out parry and shield so that way you can dodge by pressing the parry button and a direction at the same time, or more importantly, a way to set parry to spotdodge so I can better compact my keybinds and give my hands a break.

No I don't think it affects the menu binds. Thank you for the advice for the air dodge, but I already had that binded. Ah yeah I was going to use my keybinds from rivals one but needing to bind parry, shield, and grab messed my binds up a lot lol

Also in rivals 1 the menu keybinds were affected by your binds and I have no idea why they changed that

I think the new update just completely got rid of this functionality. I was doing fine until it updated, and now neither arrow keys nor wasd works. I am incapable of navigating the menus ;-; might be time to buy a controller

It still works fine for me it might be a bug that breaks it for that person idk. I play only keyboard and it's been working
