And yes, I did get back into rivals 1 before I played the sequel, and yes, this did have an impact on how I played the sequel. It took me some time before I got used to the new changes, but now that I’ve played for a bit now and built some muscle memory, I can make unbiased decisions. I don’t necessarily find roa2 a bad game, I just think it needs some tweaks to better accommodate players of the first game, especially for keyboard players.
