tips for clairen
feels like the only char i lose to on character select, i dont know how to beat them constantly falling with disjoint aerials and spacing with jab and dtilt, mid gold and ranno player, never played rivals 1 :) any tips would be greatly appreciated! im sure its a skill issue :er_sweat:

Her aerials are not safe on shield so if she lands close infront of you with any aerial you can grab it after shielding. It's important to stay mobile to make her mess up her spacing like running up and shielding or doing tiny wavedashes to stay uncomfortably close to regain ground since she excels when you're pushed into a corner or the ledge.

Her grab special is very dangerous as she can combo into forwardsmash with it so if you get grabbed you can break free with special

Every clairen is going to do a landing aerial into f smash, so fully shield the entire aerial and then counter with your faster tools.

I'm getting called out hard lmao, but yeah we all do it, because it works most of the time, but yeah guys seriously just try to get us to nair, shield the nair, and then shield grab
