I've only ever seen the 500 bucks skins in the coin shop (I think they mentioned 1000+ bucks skins are not in the rotation), and they cost 50,000 coins. That's 1:1.
1 dollar gets you 100 bucks, and 1 buck gets you 100 coins. So a skin that is 5 dollars is 500 bucks and is 50000 coins,
AH, ok NOW I get it, still, thats all by design and its complete ♥♥♥♥, you pay 30 bucks for a demo, there are no bonus modes, arcade is minimal at best, no fun customization of cpu battling or such. At its core, i like what they have, but its so minimal, and they cant even give you some recolours after 10 hours of play, that is abominable. If they want to be this stingy they should go f2p, reward those who bought in early. When im getting my ♥♥♥♥ kicked in by other players because im literally that new, Id like to atleast work towards SOMETHING other than losing MMR or doing the basic arcade for the 200th time
Look when the first thing you do is to try and devalue what the other person is saying through insults I have to think that you only want to stirr ♥♥♥♥ up instead of discuss so please refrain from participating in this discussion if you dont have anything usefull to say.
If you want to talk like a grown up I´m open to ignoring this first misstep of yours and start from the beginning.
You can trade Aether Bucks for Coins.
The conversion is 10 Bucks = 1000 Coins.
Skins that cost 500 Aether Bucks in the bucks shop cost 50,000 Aether Coins in the coin shop.
That's what we mean by 1:1. Skins don't magically get more expensive or cheaper from one shop to another, but Bucks are obviously a more precious currency.
You wouldn't have survived 2015 Rivals of Aether 1. It was way more barren than that. It's gonna take time for RoA 2 to get more content, but we're already at a much better starting point.
Look you seem to have absolutely no manners or care about that so I will ignore you after this message I dont have time to talk to someone who never got over his edgy teen years.
The reason I´m defending this is becourse this is the best we will get und with we I mean gamers in genreal not only people playing rivals2.
People have to become realistic.
A company that wants to support their product long term has to have a constant flow of money.
The devs of this game have made the most consumer-friendly cash-shop that I have ever seen.
The reasons why its such a good shop I believe have already been discussed and if not here in one of the other x threads that discussed this.
For the 30 bucks we payed for the game we got the game and everything that will be released in the future for this game like characters, stages, story mode and what ever else the devs have planed.
If this is not good enough for you go play some other fighting game that costs 60+ and takes 20 bucks from you for some new characters and stages.
What I´m saying is: The devs of this game are extremely pro consumer in comparison to most if not every other example of the recent years and as thanks people demand more and more instead of saying thank you.
I even had to google what games activision publishes to see what they do.
Instead of just making worhtless reaction posts that can be summed up to "LMAO ROFL LOL" try to talk to people, give examples, tell people why you think different.
All your are doing is try to rile people up and jump on the hype train but you bring no substance.
The coin shop is in no way a lootbox because you know what you're going to get. Could it have more items in it? Yes. But right now, since there are only like 100 things in the shop, having 10 of them available for coins every day is totally reasonably.
On any given day, you have a 10% chance you can get an item from the shop worth up to 500 RA bucks or whatever they're called. Don't like what's there now? Come back tomorrow.
And guess what? When they have more items in the shop, the coin shop will probably get bigger too. Games making bank and run by major studios like Fortnite make you pay for everything, and they're making hand over fist, and you STILL aren't guaranteed to even be able to buy a given item from the shop because the entire shop itself rotates. But hey, who still plays Fortnite anyway? Oh yeah, about 1.1 million players _per day._
RoA2's shop is already fine and will only get better. The only one stingy here (and childishly impatient) are the people kvetching like you about shop details in the first month of its launch.
