It took Rivals 1 4 years until it got workshop support, so I'd imagine it's gonna be a similar case with this game. I do remember them saying that they're implementing stuff to the Rivals 2 engine that'll make it easier for them to add support for it down the line.
Nice. Came here to ask OP's question myself. Haven't been this hyped for a game in a very long time. I really like the workshop stuff, even if I have to wait about four years, plus however long it takes for the base game to be completed and put in the store.
Especially would be nice if u could just make a charicter with sprites and they would just be there in teh 3d world
With Rivals 1 Workshop, I didn't see them attempting to remove anything there, so hopefully they'll be pretty lenient with the sequel here too.
