Check the input on the Sound Settings and see if Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter is found. If it's found then MacOS sees the cable. If not. check the cable's strain relief and re-seat it. What patch? you shouldn't need a patch. I am on Monterrey 12.3.1 and have no issues.

Hello Paladin, it's not being found, that's my issue. I've disconnected and re-connected it to make sure it wasn't the connection.

you are not using a usb hub are you? USB hubs and RC cable don't work well. grasping at straws a bit. Also, have you tried unplugging every other USB device? and just have the RS cable plugged in? Does the cable work on another computer or xbox or something?

I checked and under hardware on the OSX system report it recognizes the USB as the Rocksmith cord. The game does not see it... That's where i'm struggling.

I've uninstalled the game and unplugged the cord etc, no result

Ah ok that helps. here are a couple of suggestions to try. Sometimes the ini file for RS get corrupt. I have had to erase it and let the game re-initalize everything. The first try is rename the ini file to somthing else and restart RS. That may connect the devices. Here is some Steam posts that may help:

give that a try. It's worked for me. Also -- if you every get a startup screen that is off the screen, or can be sized. it's a corrupt ini file.

Good luck

Hi mrcheckoutgamer

Regrettably, due to the change of OS architecture, games may not run any more on operating systems other than the one specified in the minimum and recommended system requirements. You can find these requirements {LINK REMOVED}

Thank you Paladin, for posting some possible workarounds here to help out with this compatibility issue.
