Solution: "The Ubisoft servers are not available"

I am posting this to help out anyone else if they are stuck on the sign-in screen. When it prompts you to sign in, just click ESC twice to bypass the login and enjoy the game! Hope this helps!

Hello!
That did not help either. After choosing a profile itsays something like " no connection to server" , then it frezzes and the only thing I can do is close the app.

Did they added forced uplay now?

Hmm. After it says to create/choose a profile, you need to bypass that screen as well. Name the profile and when the server error pops up, just hit Enter and it will take you to the game. I will have to look into the freezing problem

That exactly is what does not work for me. As soon as I choose a profile, any inputs are not registred anymore.

Random fix: I just changed my password to 8 characters and it works now. Thanks to someone in another forum with this suggestion!

Managed to get in by using escape on certain screens during load in.

Also getting a message on Steam "previous version" of game?

I'm worried if I update it then I won't be able to get back in.

I can get past that stuff fine, but it is so annoying having to spam esc and enter to get past those. I dont want to sign in to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Uplay, its not even a multiplayer game
