It wouldn't be so bad to lose data, if this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game didn't have such long and tedious "tutorials" when you start a new profile... if I could jump back to the same old level by literally playing at the level, I wouldn't need a save so badly. this is annoying af.
But thank you guys very much for helping out! <3
Best of luck and glad you have it resolved.
But after clicking on my old user profile that I inserted, this ♥♥♥♥ comes up:
"WARNING!
The save file is owned by another user and cannot be loaded. Do you want to overwrite and create new Save Data?".
<cancel> = go back to "create new profile hell".
<accept> = accept the fact that this game is a piece of ♥♥♥♥, and enter the new profile hell (by deleting your old data! :DDDDDDDDD).
In both cases I must now face the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ calibration sequence that can cause any sane person to want to cut their own throat.
Seriously just someone summon satan to ♥♥♥♥ me in the ass... I'll be more accepting of that.
♥♥♥♥. this. game.
I'm out.
This game is more difficult to work properly then to actually learn guitar on your own.
I understand your frustration and I definately recommend taking a break from the game for a few hours to a few days. It's happened to me as well that a corruption happened and I lost my previous work from my profile. I had to start from scratch, but now I backup my data so that I don't go through that again. Life's definately a learning experience with plenty of up's and down's. Regardless if you want to use RockSmith to play or only practicing on your own, wishing you t best with your music endeavors. Hopefully you'll feel better after a break.
That's the most annoying part.. not only that you need to back up the game instead of the game not being piece of trash, is that even when you do take the measures to back it up, it still ♥♥♥♥♥ you in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Anyways thank you for your help ^.^ have a good one.
most times deleting the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache
fix's a lot of launch error's just rename the old one so if that dosent work you can rename it back. It wil lrewrite a new file.
