Hyper Hexagonest is not doable by humans, fact.
You may say you have in fact done it, and truly there are videos on the Internet showing it has been done, so I don't doubt you, I don't doubt you at all.

What I do doubt is your humanity, for there must be nothing left after the ever spinning has consumed your soul entirely as you so recklessly stared its hungry eye. What remains is an empty husk, going through a world in slow motion, caught in a perpetual fever dream seeing hexagons everywhere. You are not human anymore. This is the price one has to pay.

I'm willing to give up my human side for that ability.

Ehehehe... You only got the "slow motion" part wrong.

Hah, just saw one of the video's and yes it's quite humanoid like. However, watching the developer beat the game while on stage using on a macbook was more impressive. The video I saw first, the kid said it took him 40hours of playing to be able to get to the point where he just remembered the whole layout. Which I guess is exactly the way to do it.

And nothing of value was lost.

I'm pretty sure it is. I mean, I think I'm still normal, and kinda close to get it right (42 s IIRC). You just have to get to that state of mind where you don't think about the game. Hard should be called "think fast", harder would be "think faster", hardest(er/est) would be "and you thought you were thinking fast earlier?". Hardestestest clearly should be called "don't think".

There. I tried it right now. Frustration at its max level.

Karl, once one reaches that state, one cannot return from it and now the person will be forever in that state of mind where they cannot think about the game... and LIFE!

And I feel for you man, friggin 59 seconds, damn.

I'm not insane yet, so maybe there's hope for me.

You'll get there. I had a time of 59:43. I think there was 8 other people who had a better time but didnt get 60. 2 had guys had 59:58 so I just thought they must feel really bad. Then I hammered on and beat it last weekend. Currently on 73:?? I know I can still do better.

I've finished on 59 seconds before as well. Absolutely heart breaking. Pushed on and am now standing at 74, HUZZAH! :D

Karl i totally agree with the 'don't think' thing. I spend some time meditating when i need it, just lying or sitting eye-closed, focusing on my breathing to stop thinking, let everything pass by. And that ♥♥♥♥ helps while playing hardestestest mode, even if im stuck at 81sec (don't know the patterns yet).
OP, it's just a matter of attention, decision and inhibition. Spend all your attention on some tasks doesn't mean your humanity is lost. Or maybe you could define humanity as you understand it...
I don't see hexagon everywhere (this effect wasn't as strong as minecraft making me seeing blocks), maybe because wheni play, in that eyes-open meditative state, i focus on motion.
Yet i do have some slowmo bugs sometimes, reacting (including inhibit reactions) very fast at moving objects for example. Brain not rot already

Guys it was a joke.

What is this "joke"? Where is the open side for the cursor?
SourceMaster Mar 11, 2014 @ 6:19pm
I have personally watched someone get almost 70 seconds on that level.

hmm...indeed i feel a sense of un-natural trancendence.
