Does the performance seemingly get worse the longer you play?
I feel like when I first boot up the game I get around 80-90 fps, sometimes close to 100 fps. But after like an hour or 2 of playing, I start getting more so around 60-70 fps with some dips into the 50's. I'm running native 1080p with SMAA t2x and everything set to very high except for volumetric fog and LOD set to high; RTX 3060 ti + ryzen 7 5800x3d.

So far the game's running good, though the performance seems to completely tank when you play with the graphics settings in-game and doesn't go back to normal until you restart the game. And I've only crashed once so far, and that's when I tried enabling fsr frame gen, so I'm assuming it's either bugged or because I have a 8GB card. Idk, optimization seems weird for this game. Like it's good one minute then gets worse the next and you have to restart the game to fix it.

Search these forums for "memory leak", making more scattered threads doesn't help with making the issue known.
Yes, over time, it leads to performance degradation due to memory leak. Hence, give Nixxes some time to test & release the patch.

From other big threads it seems that the game has a big issue with malwarebytes.
We don't know how we don't know why.
Deactivating your antivirus will fix it.

same here, 4070 super over 100 fps for 1 one hour prox.

later, 30, 40 fps in the game, even in the menus it does not go above 30

I get that after about 20 minutes. Game starts flawlessly, I get over 100 fps with dlss on and the it goes down to 60/70 no matter the zone, and usually stays there. Wish it was addressed fast. Game is more than playable on near maxed settings with an aged 2080 but it's just very annoying and I don't like relying on dlss.

it does point to a reoccurring problem.

after 1+ hour of gameplay i start to stutter quite frequently which would indicate a memory leak of sorts. resetting the game fixes the stutters.

Yes, every Nixxes port has a memory leak problem due to Nixxes' memory management that's been called out many times, even by Digital Foundry, but they refuse to do anything about it.

always stutter around camps, try running around buildings and light sources, been testing for hours, stutters all the time, fresh reboot has the same problem.
