Whats the difficulty like?
Is this Elden Ring-style combat with hard bosses or can you turn into a demi-god and just slice and dice your way through enemies like tomatoes? Looking for a game to play after work that wont piss me off lol.

You can chose anything between baby goo goo gaga mode and 1 hit kill mode. 4 difficulties to chose from. Easy being pretty damn easy.

The difficulty is very customizable, so anything you'd like. On normal I'd call it slightly more challenging than AC, but it's no Sekiro

game is harder than a remembered and I though it was easy on lethal on playstation, but I forgot how to play, once you get the hang of it, and get the upgrades the game becomes too easy, but it's a power fantasy not meant to be some challenging game

I've been getting my ♥♥♥♥ clapped on lethal, ngl. I wasn't expecting it as I played hard on PS5 without much difficulty and have just recently been playing Rise of the Ronin on Midnight. I think it kinda comes down to mindset tbh. I was expecting an easier time because in my mind it's not a Team Ninja game, from FromSoft, or a soulslike... and it simply caught me off guard.

Playing on the hardest mode is a bit of a challenge - enemies spot you very quick and fighting feels more realistic since you can be killed within 1 or 2 strkes. You also can kill your enemies with 1-2 hits. Tanky enemies also will be killed with a single headshot (when wearing no helmet). The only thing really really hard to master is the controls (m+k). Have to tinker a bit with it... switching stances mid-fight using the given controls is a death sentence. But playing without a mouse is a no-go for me. Will be a learning curve I guess.

The difficulty is good, you cant just spam attacks but also its not frustrating.

Im playing this game on'' Hard ''and Sekiro was way harder than hard.
There's a Lethal difficulty that makes everyone, you including, die in like 2-3 hits tops.
I'd suggest this one.

I dont think switching stances is that bad, 1-2-3-4 you just have to click a number quickly after a kill or if you want to create your own combos, even better if you bind them to your side mouse buttons. I rebinded parry/block to right click, heavy attack to middle mouse and it feels way better imo.
