It's accurate but okay.
>there are no historical writings nor evidence that Yasuke was ever granted the rank or title of samurai
Glad we cleared that up. Moving on. Also I'm assuming director's cut means it comes with DLC or?
AC Shadows is based on a true story, it's 100% accurate.
Thank you Dorothy and the wonderful land of Oz.
There's no token black guy.
There's no token alphabet souper
There's no coin flip gender changer
None of that cancerous garbage.
But if you ask if it's historically accurate in the sense of 'can you tie events to actual history' then, no. None of the characters actually existed. Khotun Khan is completely fictional, Genghis Khan did not have a brother named Khotun.
The only thing that's realistic is the depiction of the island of Tsushima during that time period and the people. There are no personages that actually exist in history that appear in the game on either side. They took a setting, made an original cast for it and kept it as realistic as possible without stepping over any lines like Ubisoft.
That's this game in a nutshell.
tl;dr = swing sword, chop much hed, funs very.
