PSA: Get a PS5 controller for this game
(title)

I played this on PS5, and I am a gamer; I could care less about Sony vs Microsoft or consoles vs. PC gaming. I just like to have fun. That said, I have an Xbox controller I use for some PC games, but I probably will buy this and use a PS5 controller. Microsoft dropped the ball on this iteration of their controller, whereas the PS5 has immersive features that developers can link to. Light shifts, haptic trigger feedback, a touch-sense screen.

This game uses all of those features in an amazing way, and it draws you even more into what is already an incredible journey. This is just my .02, and again, I am no fanboy. I am just a gamer sharing thoughts with fellow gamers.

Have to agree with the post, I agree that the keys can be change, however, the PS5 controller is best when using the wind and, iirc put away the sword. It's more artistic.

Unless you're spending $200 on the Dualsense Edge, enjoy stick drift in 9-11 months.
I got 2 in the drawer next to me with drift and use a Gulikit King Kong 2 Pro as my main now.

I miss the touchpads and mic mute button, because Steam Input lets you do a lot with them (mic mute is great for mapping an auto run forward command) but ♥♥♥♥ that drift ♥♥♥♥.

Over the course of 4 years I went through 7 Dualshock 4's as well, and it does not take long before taking them apart and hitting em with the canned air and vacuum no longer work.

Dualshock 3 was the last time any Sony controller lasted more than 2 years for me. (pretty sure none of my 4 DS3s have drift but they also haven't been used in ages)

I have the pro ps5 controller and still prefer my Elite 2 from Xbox.
The trigger haptics are annoying after the novelty wears off so I always shut it off on ps5 anyways

TBF, the Dualsense is pretty solid.
You can bludgeon someone with one (don't ask me how I know)

I believe you but I have a xbox controller and a rechargeable battery pack and it runs forever. That stuff is now 10 years old.

The dualsense is low on battery in a few hours and still has build in battery.

1st person keyboard and mouse is only for if you suck ass with controller. Aka Mouse is easy mode.

LMAO fair. Sony has had terrible battery life the last 2 generations for sure.

You must disable steam input for games that have DS5 native support. Try that, hopefully that will help. (also obviously keep it wired or o hybrid controller functions will work at all)

This goes for all modern controllers. If the game fully supports them you must disable steam input.
