What is going to happen if I got the key through 3rd party key reseller?

The Steam Terms of Service do not allow any form of circumventing purchase restrictions. If you do so anyway, Valve reserves the right to modify your account according to the ToS.

Additionally, lending out accounts is also a breach of the service agreement on your side.

I have had 3rd party keys revoked by steam in the past so I no longer use those sites

If you're in a banned country refund it because the key is rendered unusable to you

If you wanna play it pirating is the only way

TOS violation you get your account banned by Sony and you risk getting in trouble with steam because thats a TOS violation regarding circumventing purchase restrictions

Where'd you get it from? Most sellers don't provide them that early and are usually made available 24hrs prior to the release date.

Saw you also asked what would happen if it was gifted to you too, so I'm confused.

I guess keep us posted on what happens to you the day it releases. Might still have access to the single player content since it's already activated...but it most likely won't be able to play Legends (online co-op) if it's under a banned PSN region.

If you'll buy a key from a region that's not restricted you will be able to activate it on your account, and since the game needs sony bs account only for multiplayer you will be able to play singleplayer without any issues

Its a gamble tho Steam database explicitely says that region lock also prevent key activation on top of purchasing the game

I have bought a EU key from gamivo and it worked on my Latvian account.
It will work also in Estonia and Lithuania.
