Crackling audio for those who view discord screenshare of the game?
I'm not quite sure if this is an issue anyone else has had, I personally haven't been able to find anything through online searching. Whenever I stream/screenshare the game on discord for my friends to view in call, they mention quite a bit that certain actions cause audio crackle/static on the viewing end, but I've had no issues with the games audio other than those related to stuttering that other players have reported. Actions like playing the flute, using the wind, weapons making the viscera noises that they do when stabs or finishing blows are used, many small things seem to cause the issue on the viewers end. Curious as to if anyone has this issue with the game or even other games through discord streaming, as Ghost of Tsushima is the only game I've ever streamed that has this issue.

Me and my friend fixed the problem by disabling the his PS5 controller in the sound settings. I think its because of the controller making special sounds when you hit someone for example in Marvel Spider-Man. If you don't use a Dual Sense controller then i got no fix unfortunately. Hope it works.

This might sound like a random question but you wouldn't happen to have an Asus motherboard, would you? I'm wondering whether this is a hardware or driver issue. My friends have complained a lot about it and I genuinely have no idea what causes it.

Unfortunately I have an msi mag b660 tomahawk board, and in the time since making this thread I really haven't found any solution for this issue in the handful of games I've seen it in.

Say whatever you want. I call it a victory for not polluting the internet with worthless traffic, which all game streaming is

I'll definitely try this solution out.

Easier said than done but that guy's just a stupid troll, best to just ignore. One of many people that literally just exist to say dumb sh*t, throw out some bait, and when a fish is caught they reel it in. That is their idea of fun. Some are more sick than others, but once you understand it like it is it's very easy to spot.

Disabling the PS5 controller in sound settings would disable the haptic and trigger feedback you'd get from using a PS5 controller.

Instead on Win11, go to Settings > System > Sound > Volume Mixer

Scroll down until you see the apps list and look for Discord. There should be multiple of them. One of them is Discord's attempt to hook into the PS5 controller, turn it down to 1 so it doesn't get reflected in your screen share/stream. You may have to do this a few times to determine which "DISCORD" application entry is the one hooking the PS5's audio.
