Graphics look out dated or just me?

Any settings to make the game look better or is this the best it can do?(got it on highest settings)
I'm not sure why but it just looks out dated to me.

I remember OG Doom when i was a kid. Back then that was da ♥♥♥♥♥. Not everything has to be flashy so your eyes bleed to make a game good

Yeah, much of the textures are really plain. It's not up to standard with the newly released games. It's more of the artistic flair that makes the game still look good.

I mean its a 4 year old game ported to PC, not remade so, yeah graphics will look like from 2020.

Aaaait okay its not just me and honestly I was expecting allot.
I was hoping the graphics would be a bit better but I guess i'm spoiled by the pc master race graphic qualities, ahhh our burden is heavy always on top and looking down on console peasant hoping they will achieve our standard one day.

I agree, but I thought about it and I came to the conclusion it fits the story better.
It's like your looking for a beautiful scene in a grey world filled with death.

I have seen lots worse looking releases in 2024 so far. GOT looks amazing in motion on a good monitor for a 4 years old game on my end.

Have you the latest graphic driver? It seems it makes trouble. Before I installed it, the game actually looked great, sharp textures, etc. Now the textures are suddenly blurry and washed out, even though the graphics settings are still on Ultra. But it now looks like I'm playing it in a very low resolution, which is not the case.

exactly. the art direction in this one is top notch. it requires actual artists and creativity not just programmers spamming UE5 features on screen, the ones only a 2k dollar gpu can handle while their game still looks lifeless and boring.

this game also has amazing graphics. May not be the fanciest tech wise, but it is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorgeous art style wise.

I had the opposite. Game looked pretty good. Got sick of the "update your drivers" message so I did. Holy hell it looks even better.
