Anybody trying to fill in the entire map

If you just do your quests and activities you will gradually unlock most of the map, no need to spent extra time doing it.

Riiiiight.....it took me a good few hours just doing all the Fox dens with a map with all the locations.

You can actually fill up an entire region by destroying all the Mongol camps. I was pleasantly surprised in the first region after wrecking the last camp and the fog-of-war immediately lifted.

Yep upgrading it especially 60m makes clearing any fog of war really easy

never really had an issue with it, only swap to full armour when playing main missions and sometimes not even then. As long as you can parry, dodge, deal with stance switching you can deal with pretty much anything

Honestly, first time I played this game was mostly on lethal with the traveler's attire.
Boss fight duels were really painful, but other than that, it was fine.

I would rather use the heavier armor. Boss fights have given me no issues as well as fighting 5 enemies at once.

As Bababooey said, if you zoom out, you can see an x/x liberated per zone. If you liberate everything in a zone, it clears the entire map for you, showing you all the ? locations you're missing. That said, the first zone can't be fully liberated until AFTER you clear act 1. Following the stories to their locations also clears out quite a bit of the zones too, I might add.
