Enemies on Lethal difficulty have higher HP?
I loved Lethal difficulty for how intense combat is with one shot kill for my character. However I thought that this would more or less applied for enemies too? That's not the case, it's the case on easy, but lethal HP seems the same as medium difficulty, while hard lower my HP the enemies are more spongy, so there is no middle ground for this?

Is there any mod which would balance this to have lower HP fairly for all?

I feel like it works the same for enemies. You can oneshot someone if they don't wear any armor, but for some you need 2-3 hits. Same as for you if you use heavy gear and/or hp/damage reduction charms.

Well I'm on the start trying to do it again on Lethal, but enemies which wear red armor seems to take same amount of damage as they do on medium. Meaning that three quick attacks lower their HP to the last bar but then they recover before last kill. I had same experience on medium, seems that only easy makes them one/two slash > kill, but I can't stand how much HP I got on easy. I hoped there would be some middle ground for this.

When you begin upgrading your blade, you'll notice that it takes fewer hits to defeat enemies. After roughly an hour of enhancements, I was able to dispatch most opponents with just 2 or 3 strikes. Unarmored enemies could be taken down with a single blow, which made battles much quicker and more efficient. Even the tougher, armored leaders became manageable, typically requiring around 5 hits to be defeated. This made a significant difference in my combat effectiveness and overall progression in the game.

I playing with bow and in every difficulty all enemies are one shoted, and for the enemies with helm, just long bow and one shoted like normal enemies... may i need to play full melee to see any type of difficulty ? bow are to OP.

btw when i say one shot is not only shot in the head, even in the body they die in one hit or maximun 2 hits

Lethal, you do more damage to enemies and they do more to you. They are more aggressive. Lethal is hard mode without the increased HP pool of enemies, but you have increased damage output, which snowballs to a silly amount once your katana gets 4+ and you have a damage charm. I was watching my friend the other day and he 4 shot a boss. I told him the same boss on hard mode with the exact same setup, took around 11-14 shots and he just laughed. Personally, I feel like lethal mode (Once you acclimate yourself.) becomes the easiest mode, as getting hit in the game isn't exactly hard to avoid due to freeflow.

"Lethal is hard mode without the increased HP pool of enemies" Thinking about it when I played medium last time I had lvl 3 upgrades on Katana and now they are taking same amount of damage with no upgrades on lethal, I completely forgot on that.

I guess I need upgrades to get myself to the sweet point I'm looking for :)

I'm not sure where this myth comes from, since I heard it from someone else somewhere else, but aside from archers and maaaybe sprint slashing, you can't one shot anyone on Lethal.

Neh, I tried hard mode yesterday, I had played this game on Lethal from the first time I launched it back when I bought it for my PS5. I have like 3-4 playthroughs on Lethal by now and I'd never bothered trying the other difficulties.

But yesterday I gave it a try cause I keep hearing y'all go on and on and on about how Lethal is easier than hard.

Welp, bullsh*t, as expected.

Hard is far easier. You're basically a tank with all that health you got. It's not harder than lethal, it just makes combat longer and more tedious.

On Lethal where you can't afford any mistakes.
On hard it's like, heh, fine, I got 5 more hits before I fall, and then I can just revive and heal.

You completely missed the "Not hard to avoid damage with freeflow." in the last part, didn't you? Hard is harder because enemy fights take longer. Lethal is 1-2 shots and the problem is taken care of. Watching a shielded mongol go down in 2 shots on lethal, as opposed to 5-6 on hard leaves room for ACTUAL countering by the enemy, hence, making it harder.

Yes, you can tank more damage in a mode that isn't designed to increase enemy damage output (Who'd a thunk it?) but in a game that has 3 ways to completely negate damage to you, dodge, block, parry, why are you taking damage anyways?

How else would they make it harder. Probably a little faster to. Plus smaller parry windows. And smaller dodge windows.
