No DG3 plans. But luckily we keep getting new free maps.

none that i know of ......... but i will gladly assist, answer questions, tutor, walk through ..... what ever you like

I want a DG3 so much but I know it won't happen.

Would they ever do some sort of DLC bundle or any sort of release?

I doubt it will ever happen. Defense Grid as a franchise is a total failure, sadly. The first game just barely made enough money from sales to cover the development cost. The Kickstar for DG2 was a monumental failure (reaching only $271,726 of the 1 million dollars that was needed) and the only reason why the game was made, was because an investor jumped in (and that also just happened because said investor turned out to be a fan of the game, who even was a Kickstarter backer in the first place).

Judging from the Steam numbers, DG2 sold at best half of what the first game sold. Probably less though.

Tower Defense, for some reason, isn't a big selling genre. Even the Kingdom Rush series, despite extremely positive reviews, isn't a big seller (and every seque sold considerably less than the previous one)

Where are these free maps? I completed all the ones that show up in the game years ago and I've never seen any new ones. What am I missing?

I think this game franchise is one of the top tower defense games out there. It's really sad that they coulden't advertise it better.
