Thanks for reaching out, sorry to see you're having issues launching the game.
Is this still the case?
Could you please ensure you've got the most recent version of Ubisoft Connect installed[ubi.li]?
- Ubisoft Support
In fact, just end ALL of the launchers for EVERY game.
That being said I noticed there was an update recently, and the game seems to have booted just fine since then.
Considering that, if it's not the case, Ubisoft Connect automatically installs to the latest version by itself, it's a rather weird question to ask.
Even if I manage to delete the Ubi connect files and install an older version (which doesn't crash by the way), it only results in it downloading the newest version on startup. Then it restarts itself and crashes instantly.
This is so frustrating. I had just bought the game a couple of weeks earlier and now it's been more than two months since it's unplayable.
The biggest irony is that this software is called "Ubisoft Connect", while it actually keeps me from connecting to my games.
This is why I loath DRMs like these. They don't keep pirates from playing some games, they actually keep legit players from enjoying the game they bought. And the worst part is that publishers don't care.
I could provide the crash dump, but I doubt Ubi cares anyway.
