No Steam Cloud support?

It's not listed on the storage page. It's basically a must-have these days going between desktop/laptop/Steam Deck. I don't think the Ubisoft Connect version had any kind of cloud saves for this game -_-

They use their own Cloud Support via Ubisoft Connect.

The game uses Ubisoft Connect and it has its own cloud saves. It would be redundant to have steam cloud unless they were to remove the ubisoft connect requirement, which sadly wont happen any time soon

And it was gifted to me anyway so now I don't have to.

But still no cloud save? I was hoping for this when it came to Steam. Had about 20 hours of progress on the Uplay version before and lost it when I upgraded my computer due to no cloud save.

I have not tested, but maybe it has uplay cloud saves?
I certainly prefer steam cloud myself and am in no way advocating for third party solutions or launchers.

I need to confirm if it has cloud saves. I was gonna buy it to play in my Steam Deck and my PC, so having cloud saves to be able to continue from where I left is a must.

Anyone can confirm that it has at least cloud saves in the Ubi servers?

its ubisoft so your games are going to get saved through there cloud service not steams .

According to some Ubisoft discussion posts about the game there is cloud saves on their side but you need to make sure it’s enabled. I’ve seen some of their discussion posts claiming people had lost their save data cause their cloud saves don’t always back up automatically.
