Pretty sure there aren't any that you'll game with, I don't think that has Vulkan support, not full support anyways so you won't get far with games. For general desktop usage it should work if fine if you're not expecting to be playing games on it.

it still plays games just fine. I just don't know what kind of older drivers to download for it.

Well it probably wont on linux, its been out of support for long, probably doesn't support Vulkan which means no proton which basically means not much linux gaming. You can try but keep your expectations in check.
You would have to use Nouveau or the older proprietary NVIDIA drivers. you'd also need to use an older DXVK version.

It would be the 470 branch. Your distro would provide it.

AFAIK, that driver branch only supports Vulkan 1.2, whereas DXVK (used by Proton) uses features from newer versions of Vulkan. So you're limited to OpenGL games, older Vulkan games, and using something like WineD3D or Proton-Sarek to run Windows games without having newer Vulkan.

In general you don't download software from random websites like you might on Windows - you just get it from your distro's repositories (or additions to your distro's repositories such as PPAs, snaps from snapcraft, or flatpaks from flathub - but you don't need to worry about any of that now). Both Mint & Ubuntu (and Kubuntu, the KDE flavour of Ubuntu, which is my preference) are able to pick that Legacy version for your GPU automatically.

I'd recommend pop os over mint or Ubuntu personally it's Ubuntu at its core with a lot of optimizations to run better
